In a devil infested world, there are devil hunters. Sora Shigure is one such individual, attending an academy which clandestinly gathers and instructs those gifted – some say cursed – with supernatural power. In the daylight an ordinary campus student; in the moonlight an assassin of nightmarish monstrosities. Locked in two radically different worlds, Sora seeks to find not only stability and tranquility, but a purpose other than death and destruction. It is a path he currently walks alone, subconsciously frightened and forgotten, but soon discovers is best traveled with another to accompany in the journey. Yet before he can reach the final destination, many an obstacle must be vanquished, ironically ushering more death and destruction along the everlasting route.
