I’m just curious… how many of these eroge are available in English? Or are semi-playable if you don’t understand Japanese?

@Nargrakhan: Yeah, you’re right, the initial idea/concept was enough for two or three volumes of stuff, but it’s longtime that the entire series degenerated in something really bad for my tastes, and even now I can’t understand the causes behind its continued success.
Indeed, I find this Ore No Megamisama! sexromp much more comprehensible/palatable, hehe…

@Baldo: I don’t think Ah! My Goddess is that terrible. It actually started out really good, but things have definitely gone downhill over the years. Now the series is little more than an endless cashcow with the same jokes over and over again. Should have ended a looooong time ago. In any case, I would not be adverse to seeing a second Ore no Megamisama! with more AMG ripped off characters… like Peorth and Lind.

I like the way Japanese impose copyright law (or the lack of it). It allows fans to make billions of doujin clearly based off copyrighted material; not only that, but the industry benefits from it (in some way) because the said doujins are a good indication of what fans like, trends, and so on. Of course, it doesn’t mean that copyright law should be abolished for good, but that money-grubbing jerks need to loosen up a bit on copyright enforcement.

I would say that it’s the original AH! MY GODDESS manga (and anime, and etc. etc.) the real “Definitely not recommended for purchase” c**p here, but it’s merely my opinion.
