@Mazryonh: Well there is a twin ending, so Narg is happy that they can share. As for those balls, IIRC they are called "temari" - and have quite a colorful history in Japanese culture... although I don't remember the specifics of it (been so long since school). They were used by children for tossing games - ordinarily temari don't bounce very well - and there was a time when noble women carried expensive versions around as a fashion accessory. In my experience, horror settings like using them for characters that they want to mark as childlike (if they aren't children), a wealthy bloodline, and raised during the feudal era. Hence the whole "ghost" and "spirit" girls carrying them. So basically its just an ancient toy. Mothers who handmade them for their children, would put a piece of paper with a wish inside the center: usually asking for something like longevity and eternal good luck for the child. Thus being another horror gimmick, that the temari is a link to the child's dead mother.

Hey Narg, what is that ball that Rindou's carrying? I've seen similar ones before in other Japanese horror titles, such as Fatal Frame, Kao No Nai Tsuki and Touka Gettan.

I bet you were really frustrated you couldn't take the twins together, eh? Did you like To Heart 2 XRATED because of that?
