One of the Haruka ni Aogi novels seems to be a novelisation of Sumika's story, while the other is a collection of side stories. There's a bit of information on the MinDead Blood ones here http://www.cyc-soft.com/b-cyc-pro/mdb-dvd2/kanren/mdbdvd_kanren.htm.
